Position Summary
As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the resort during the overnight hours. This role combines Front Office responsibilities with important financial and administrative duties, requiring a strong eye for detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, accounting, or a similar hospitality role.
- Experience with a Property Management System; knowledge of Opera is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm during emergencies or unexpected situations.
- Fluent English is preferred; additional languages are an advantage.
- Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Front Office operations during the overnight shift.
- Welcome and assist guests with late check-ins, early check-outs, and general requests throughout the night.
- Perform the daily night audit and ensure all financial and operational transactions are accurately reviewed and reconciled.
- Review and verify room charges, incidental expenses, payments, and other financial postings.
- Prepare and distribute required daily financial and operational reports.
- Handle cash, payments, incidental charges, and billing procedures accurately, in accordance with resort policies.
- Respond professionally and efficiently to guest concerns, requests, and unexpected situations during the night shift.
- Monitor and report any operational, maintenance, safety, or security concerns that may arise.
- Coordinate closely with Security, Engineering, and other relevant departments when required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of incidents, guest concerns, and unusual situations.
- Ensure all guest information and operational records are handled with confidentiality and discretion.
- Complete a detailed shift handover for the Front Office and management teams.
- Ensure the Front Office area remains organized, professional, and ready for the following day's operation.
- Follow established resort procedures and ensure a smooth and secure overnight operation.
